Our Solar System Science Games

5 games

In this series of games, your students will learn about all kinds of celestial objects within Earth’s immediate surroundings — from the Sun all the way down to meteoroids — and their size, composition, internal layering, and surface features. The Our Solar System learning objective — based on NGSS and state standards — delivers improved student engagement and academic performance in your classroom, as demonstrated by research.

Concepts Covered

All the objects in our Solar System revolve around the Sun, and their orbits are a result of gravity. The more massive and the closer together two objects are, the stronger the gravity between them. They vary greatly in size, as well as in distance from the sun. Scientists can study these objects with telescopes as well as sending orbiters and landers to explore them.
