Interpret Fractions As Division Math Games

Concepts Covered

Interpret a fraction as division. Interpret a fraction bar as a division bar. Connect fractions with division, understanding that a/b = a ÷ b for whole numbers a and b with b not equal to 0. Understand division as equal sharing (split wholes into unit fractions of the divisor). Interpret splitting a quantity into equal groups as multiplying by a fraction.
