Forces, Motion, and Energy Science Games

8 games

In this series of games, your students will learn to investigate varying relationships between force, motion, and energy and observe the results of changing one or more on an object. The Forces, Motion, and Energy learning objective — based on NGSS and state standards — delivers improved student engagement and academic performance in your classroom, as demonstrated by research.

Concepts Covered

Force, motion, and energy are related and are a part of everyday life. Investigate the different ways things move. Observe that a push or a pull can change the way an object is moving. Demonstrate that the way to change the motion of an object is by applying a push or a pull. Plan and conduct an investigation to compare the effects of different strengths or different directions of pushes and pulls on the motion of an object. Recognize that objects are pulled toward the ground unless something holds them up. Analyze data to determine if a design solution works as intended to change the speed or direction of an object with a push or a pull.
