Concepts Covered in Newton’s Third Law

A force is a push or a pull acting on an object. It is a vector quantity, which means it has both a magnitude and a direction. Newton’s Third Law states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. This means forces always act in pairs. These paired forces are known as action-reaction forces.
