In this game, students will draw polygons in the coordinate plane given coordinates for the vertices and will use coordinates to find the length of a side.

Newton Pool Estimated Duration: 15 minutes The game consists of hand-crafted levels where the player controls a white ball. The goal of each level is to get the white ball to the end of the level in as few moves as possible, while racking up points by bumping golden balls into obstacles on the way! They will practice counting the small squares on the grid to determine the distance between points, which can help in various real-world scenarios. Additionally, students will review the properties of certain shapes, such as squares and rectangles, and use these properties to determine lengths and vertices on the coordinate grid.
