In this series of games, your students will learn to compute unit rates associated with ratios of fractions, including ratios of lengths, areas, and other quantities measured in like or different units. Concepts Covered

A unit rate is a special ratio with a denominator of one that compares different types of measures. Given a specific quantity in dollars, inches, centimeters, pounds, hours, etc., the unit rate is the amount for one standard of measurement relative to the given quantity. Determine the unit rate given two quantities that compare different types of measures. Compare two or more unit rates.
