This is it! 366 new opportunities to learn and with all of that, we are bringing you a new batch of science classroom games this month! We’re excited to tell you more about these new science classroom games launching in the Learning Universe for your students this month. Before we jump into these new games, a note on what you will find below: all of our new games are listed first with brief descriptions, followed by a few featured games with more information about them.
New Year, New Science Classroom Games! — January 2024
New Games in Grades 3-5
- Play as a young plant and go through all the processes a plant needs to survive and grow while learning about Plant Structure and Function. Find Battle Garden featured further on in this post.

- Stop the alien invasion by applying your knowledge of Kinetic Energy in Kinetic Command: Alien Activity Regulators.
- Put on your astronaut uniform to break down the basics of Temperature, Thermal Energy, and Particle Motion in Thermal Run.
- Help our clients make a hole-in-one using your knowledge of Gravitational Force in Gravity Golf.
- Dig, dig, and explore the soils to find traces of the past! Learn more about the Fossil Record in Dino Island.
- Become a geologist and find hidden fossils! Use your knowledge of the Fossil Record to unravel the mysteries of the past in Geo Journey.
- Embody our kitty friend to learn how The Body’s Information Processing System works in Meowron Adventure.
- Cadet! It’s time to learn about the Equal and Opposite Reactions: Newton’s Third Law to win your space wings and fly your spaceship in Jet Masters.
- Visit the Parts of the Cell, and perform every single function of them in Cell Works.
- Be a hero! Eat and travel with the food inside the body to learn how the Conversion of Food Into Matter and Energy influences our body in Energy Hero.
- Use your knowledge of Force Fields to build the most exciting roller coaster in Magnetic Mayhem.
A Closer Look at Featured Games
Battle Garden — Elementary Science (Plant Structure and Function)
Game screenshot and description:
You control a young plant, helping it survive in its environment. The plant will go through various stages of its development and you will guide it through all. Your plant will need to gather Nutrients, Water, and Sun to survive all while avoiding and defeating little herbivores. The plant will grow and develop gaining useful skills that will help its development.
Matter Factory — Elementary Science (Structure of Matter)

Tour a factory with some friendly friends! In the factory, you will use a microscope to learn more about the structure of matter in its states: solid, liquid, and vapor. In this way, you’ll see how matter has different behaviors depending on its state.
Seasons and Eclipses Adventures — Middle Science (Eclipses and Seasons)

Travel through Observation Zone 01 in the northern hemisphere of the Earth and meet its people while completing mini-games and learning about the seasons and eclipses. Complete all the challenges by changing the Earth’s and Moon’s position to create eclipses and seasons!
