Say goodbye to the summer slump! We’re keeping learning fresh this summer at Legends of Learning with these new science classroom games and if you missed last month’s update you can take a look here.

Before we dive in, here’s a quick reminder that all of our new games are mentioned first with a few highlighted below with images and in-depth information about them.

New Science Classroom Games — July 2023

New in Grades 3-5

  • Participate in the Space Fair’s minigames, buy gifts, and decorate your new apartment while learning more about the Structure of Matter. Find Furball Adventure featured further on in this post.

New Games in Grades 6-8

  • Use hot and cold beams to influence and understand The Water Cycle and Weather Patterns. Find Gaia and The Weather Powers featured further on in this post.
  • Use your knowledge of Variation of Inherited Traits to defend Monster Land by creating specific monsters to scare off the invaders! Find Monsters Lab: A Genetic Adventure featured further on in this post.
  • Master the Punett Squares to learn more about the Variation of Inherited Traits in Genetics Islands.
  • Participate in the Greatest Gravity Snooker Tournament and understand how Our Solar System works in Carambola!
  • Use different States of Matter and their Structure to prepare magic potions in Potion Shop: States of Matter.
  • Explore the Parts of the Cell and play fun organelle-themed minigames in Cell Cadet.

Furball Adventure — Elementary Science (Structure of Matter)

Little Furball just moved to his new apartment, but it looks so cold and empty. Use your matter structure knowledge to help him participate in the Space Fair minigames to win tickets and purchase amazing prices to decorate your new home. Don’t forget to visit the Space Fair Store often to purchase gifts! The game offers two play modes; Story mode guides your student in the minigames with the help of a lecture on matter structure and matter states, while Practice mode allows them to jump straight into the minigames to use their matter knowledge to win more tickets and stuff for your apartment.

Gaia and the Weather Powers — Middle Science (The Water Cycle and Weather Patterns)

Gaia is a heroine of Earth that has the power to control the weather. She can fly in open environments and can shoot warm or cold beams to control the weather.

Monsters Lab: A Genetic Adventure — Middle Science (Variation of Inherited Traits)

The world of monsters has been invaded by unknown creatures from outer space. Use the power of genetics to create funny monsters to help us scare these creatures away and save Monsters Land. Will you be able to face this exciting challenge and become the best scarer?!
