Hi Legends! Welcome to another exciting update from our Learning Universe! This March, we’re thrilled to introduce you to the latest additions to our ever-expanding array of math classroom games, designed to engage and inspire your students. If you missed last month’s post you can take a look at February’s update here.

Before we jump into these new games, we wanted to tell you briefly what you’ll find below:  all of our new games are listed first with brief descriptions, followed by a few featured games with more information about them.

New in Grades K-2

  • The pirate ship race is starting in one week! A lot of competitors don’t have their Jolly Rogers yet, help them by Partitioning Circles and Rectangles to create one! Find Pirates And Adventurers: Flag Maker’s Apprentice featured further on in this post.
  • Learn more about the Place Value: Tens and Ones while placing the right tiles to create a city! Find Town Planner featured further on in this post.
  • Help Mr. Birb compare school materials by Measuring Length Differences in Thorough Mr. Birb.

New in Grades 3-5

  • Learn how to use Line Plots of Fraction Data in real-life situations like fishing, slicing fruits, and shooting asteroids. Find Line Plot Data Quest featured further on in this post.
  • Help Red destroy the Pig’s walls using your knowledge of Basic Multiplication in Angry Birds and the Multiplication Portal.
  • Collect delicious food for the Winter while learning more about the Prime, Composite, and Factor Pairs in Ants’ Factor Feast.
  • Captain, we crashed! We need to learn and apply the Terms and Rules in Numerical Patterns to find our way home in Numeric Nexus.

Pirates and Adventurers: Flag Maker’s Apprentice — Elementary Math (Partitioning Circles and Rectangles)
