Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist to work with our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and gaming, with a proven track record of engaging and growing audiences on social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy, creating compelling content that resonates with our target audiences (educators, students, and parents), and measuring the effectiveness of social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and user engagement.
This is a contractor position, and the candidate chosen will be paid in USD.

Legends of Learning sources talent globally to contribute to our business in the United States. This position is a work-from-home role based in Central or South America. Complete fluency in English is required – reading, writing, and speaking. Conversational skills need to be exceptional.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Create engaging, informative, and compelling content across multiple platforms, including but not limited to blogs, social media posts, newsletters, and video content, that promote our educational games and brand story.
- Collaborate with the product and educational teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns and content, using metrics to drive future strategy and content creation.
- Engage with our community by responding to comments and messages and engaging in conversations to build a strong online community.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, educational trends, and digital technologies.
- Support promotional campaigns with innovative social media and content marketing strategies, including product launches and special events.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field. Equivalent experience to these requirements may be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in social media management and content creation.
- Demonstrated experience in elementary/middle school education or knowledge of this market is highly preferred.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics and tools (HubSpot is required) for publication, analysis, and reporting.
- Creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas and translate them into effective content.
- Knowledge of the education sector and a passion for educational technology is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) and video editing software is preferred.

This position is a work-from-home role based in Central or South America.
Compensation:
$2,000/month
Working Hours:
Full-time, salaried position
M-F, 40 hours per week
